Cardiac Testing Facility in Waterford
We offer a full cardiac testing service at our clinic in Waterford. Our aim is to increase capacity in the healthcare system. We want to provide all patients with an enhanced level of cardiac services through easy direct access, reduced waiting times and top-quality facilities.
Introducing the Heart Clinic
We are based in the Williamstown Centre in Waterford city (beside WLRfm) and provide high quality cardiac tests such as echocardiography, exercise stress testing and heart rhythm monitoring. The clinic is part of Owens Cardiology, which is in the same building.
What You Can Expect from the Heart Clinic
- High quality cardiac testing, for symptomatic disease & risk screening
- All tests performed in-house by accredited cardiac physiologists
- Test results reviewed by Dr Owens, Consultant Cardiologist
- Reports issued in 48 hours
- Direct consultation with GP, in instances of urgent findings

Once we receive your referral, we will contact your patient to arrange an appointment. The cost of our cardiac testing services is payable by the patient at the time of the appointment. You can see our fees here
Please note: We can only accept referrals from GPs. If you are a patient, we suggest you contact your GP first and they then can refer you to us.
